Redeem subscription

Use your subscription on another device

Already paid for EVMotor Pro on your EVCar and want it on your phone, a computer or a second car? You do not need to pay again. This page shows how.

How your subscription works

There is no account, email or password. Your subscription is linked to the devices you use it on, and one subscription covers up to 2 devices: for example your EVCar and your phone, or your phone and your laptop. A device is a browser on a car screen, a phone, a Mac or a Windows computer.

Please do not tap Unlock and pay again. That starts a second, separate subscription and you would be charged twice. Use one of the two ways below instead.

Way 1: the device you paid with

If you paid by scanning the QR code with your phone, that phone can unlock itself.

1. On that phone, open evmotor.io in the same browser you paid in.
2. Under the big Start engine button, tap Redeem subscription.
3. After a second or two it says Unlocked and Pro is on.

If it asks for a code instead, this browser does not remember your payment. Use way 2.

Way 2: any other device, with a code

You need one device that already has Pro (for example your EVCar) to make a code for the new device.

On the device that already has Pro

1. Open EVMotor. Next to Pro · renews under the engine picture, tap Add another device.
2. A code appears, such as ABCD-2345. Keep this screen open.

On the new device (phone, Mac, Windows computer or another car)

1. Open evmotor.io.
2. Under the big Start engine button, tap Redeem subscription.
3. Type the code and tap Redeem. It says Unlocked and Pro is on.

A code works once and lasts 10 minutes. Capital letters do not matter and the dash is optional. If it does not work, make a new code on the Pro device.

Good to know

• Two devices at a time. If you add a third device, the one you added first is removed. It goes back to the free version until you redeem it again.
• Private or incognito windows and cleared browser data make a browser forget itself. Redeem again with a new code. The forgotten entry still counts as a device until it is pushed out by a newer one.
• Renewals are automatic. Every device checks with Stripe, our payment partner, so access follows your subscription. If you cancel, every device goes back to the free version when the month or year you paid for ends.

Something went wrong?

• "That code did not work." The code was already used, older than 10 minutes, or typed wrongly. Make a new code on the Pro device and try again.
• "Your subscription has ended." The subscription was cancelled and the month or year you paid for is over. Tap Unlock to subscribe again.
• No Pro device at hand. Under No code? at the top of this page, type the email you paid with and we will email you a code. Still stuck? Email us at lifemock@gmail.com from the address you paid with.

Cancel or see your receipts

Open evmotor.io/cancel and pick the price you pay. You keep Pro until the end of the month or year you paid for and you will not be charged again.
